Christopher Tobin

Christopher Tobin is a long-term resident of Tewantin on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Now retired from a satisfying career as an Optometrist, Christopher has found retirement to be both very rewarding and wonderfully liberating. These days, if he’s not travelling with his beautiful and effervescent wife Bron, or seeing their two grown sons Joel and Bailey forge their own paths, Christopher can often be found in his study, bringing to fruition a new way to challenge avid pencil puzzlers with faithful kelpie, Sarina resting by his side.

As of 2025, he can add indie author to his resume, with the first instalment in his puzzle book T08I seeing publication. He trusts that you will find solving the T08I puzzles to be an enjoyable and stimulating task.

TO8I Puzzle Book

Puzzlers, sharpen your pencils and ready your dictionaries, a month of puzzling fun awaits!

Crossword puzzles have been around since the nineteenth century, and Latin Squares have a history dating back centuries. There are countless puzzle variations based on each concept and loyal fans of each genre.

Now, we introduce the TO8I: a pencil puzzle that combines the language skills of a Crossword with the problem-solving logic of a Latin Square, giving you the brain-teasing fun of both puzzles at once.

In the TO8I puzzles, use the corresponding numbers in place of their letters to solve the Crossword clues, then fill the remaining squares following the rules of the Latin Square. For an extra bonus, complete the anagrams at the end of the book using the numbers within the coloured boxes.

If you want to try something a little different, while sharpening up your vocabulary, logic and trivia repertoire, then the TO8I may be the puzzle for you.
